Applications will be entertained from suitably qualified applicants for the following post at the University of Colombo.

Account Assistants (On Contract)

Minimum Qualifications

1. Degree in Finançe/Accountancy/ Business Management or equivalent qualification.
2. Should be citizen of Sri Lanka and should be a good character.
   Preference will be given to those who have the following qualifications in addition to the Degree.

i. Foundation level (CAB 1) in Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CASL) or equivalent qualification

ii. Member in the Association of Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka (MAAT)

Between 18 - 35 years

Rs. 32,500/- + Cost of Living Allowance + EPF (12%)+ ETF (3%) and government-approved allowance Rs. 5,000/- as per

UGC Circular No. 02/2022

GENERAL CONDITIONS

This appointment is on a contract basis, initially for a period of one year. However, the university may consider extending the service of the selected candidate depending on satisfactory performance and the university's requirements during the contract period.

It is compulsory to send the hard copy of the same generated PDF document with the signature of the Candidate. Any Alterations made to the original document and non-submission of the hard copy of the original PDF document cause disqualification from the selection process. If the Prospective candidate is currently employed at a higher educational institution, government department, or government corporation, the recommendation of the Head of the institution shall also be included in the application.
